Andrea Capellari, was born on 24/05/66 in Bologna. In 1983 he met the Dharma and has been studying and practicing it entirely with great effort since then.

From 1983 to 1988 in Europe he received, teachings and initiations from eminent teachers as H.H. the XIV Dalai Lama, Song Rinpoce, Gomo Rinpoce, Lama Zopa Rinpoce, Dagpo Rinpoce, Trayang Rinpoce, Gancen Rinpoce, Dema Locho Rinpoce, Ghesce Ciampa Ghiatzo, Ghesce Ciampa Lodro, Ghesce Tashi Bum. In India from 1988 until 1994, Andrea lived in strict contact with Ribur Rinpoce and Kirti Tsenjab Rinpoce, accompanying them for the first time in Europe for a tour in 1990-1991-1993 and Australia in 1994, and even for their Nepal tour in 1992 working as an interpreter for Chobghie Trician Rinpoce for a series of teachings.

From 1994 to 1996, he completed a long retreat on concentration, at the centre O Sel Ling in Spain.

Since 1998 he has been working as a Tibetan-Italian interpreter for the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute in various activities, including the Master Program. He also collaborates with other Dharma centres in Italy.

He has been  the official Italian translator of H.H. Dalai Lama since 2001.

 


 

Gavin kilty traduzioni corsi meditazione

Gavin Kilty, was born in the UK in 1948. He teaches English as a second language to international students at a private college in Devon, as well as courses on Mahayana Buddhism at Sharpham College of Buddhist Studies.

He also teaches courses each year on Tibetan language in both the UK and India. He studied the basic monastic curriculum of the the Gelug school for eight years at the Buddhist School of Dialectics in Dharamsala, and has interpreted many times for several Lamas.

A translator of world wide fame, has translated several texts from Tibetan to English and now he works full time as a Tibetan-to-English translator of Tibetan texts.
